![]() ![]() So I picked up one of the "320" pressings and it absolutely rips. (In fact, if I am remembering correctly, both the "GHS" and "RKS" characters are handsketched, while the rest is machine stamped.) If somebody else can identify the GHS 24148/A RKS STERLING and GHS 24148/B STERLING runout grooves, it would be appreciated. No smiley EQ, favoring neither the bass or treble frequencies. g) it seems like a pretty flat EQ was utilized. This was not pressed too hot (I would say that would be near impossible, noticing how many minutes are cramped on each side!), so your receiver will need to be put to work to bring all details upfront. e) IGD was noticed in a few lines of the "Rocket Queen" track, in the R side. If I do so later on, I will report again. I did NOT make a close comparison, though. c) Soundwise, it reminded me of the early US CD copy I have from late 80s/early 90s. In fact, the "RKS" is missing from the R side.Īfter just a very quick sampling of the whole record yesterday, these are my findings: a) pretty quiet pressing. According to Discogs, the closest version has the runout groove as: GHS 24148/A (and B for the R side) 4241481-A RKS STERLING.but my copy has the following: GHS 24148/A (and B for the R side) and then RKS STERLING, nothing else. No "remaster" or "180g" hype stickers or text. Just purchased this album via BB online, here in the US.
